WELCOME! I hope you enjoy sharing in the joy, frustrations and huge learning curve that I am experiencing as a mother. Through the 9 years of being a mom, I have appreciated those who not only listened, but also have helped by offering encouraging words and ideas. Because of past help I have recieved, I decided to pass on ideas at least once a week and hopefully get some more from YOU! If you know of other parents who would appreciate this-please share it with them. Let's enjoy the journey.

New Pages to check out!
For your reference. I have made a Recipe for kids page (look on the top of the blog to click on the link) that features recipes I like to make with my kids such as Playdough, muffins and cookies. I will keep adding to these once an awhile. I also added a page that will give calendar items in Cache Valley for kids. I have them listed by date. There is story time, events at the Stokes Nature Center, and others I found. If you have a calendar item to add please e-mail it to overlyactive11@gmail.com and I will get it on there.

Monster or Dino Feet
Dino Feet Craft |
Materials:
Empty tissue boxes
paint
colored paper
tape
First paint the whole box with paint to cover. We used green. After it is dry. Used any colored of paper to make claws. We cut triangles out of construction paper. Most of the girls wanted their claws painted pink. Then fit each box to your child's feet by using tape so their feet won't fall out while stomping.

This is so easy and fun to make.
1. Cut off the bottom of your water bottle
2. Decorate with stickers or glue colored paper to bottle
3. Tie a piece of string or yarn to the lip of the bottle
4. Squeeze a piece of aluminum foil around the end of the string being careful to leave enough string so the ball can reach the hole on top.
