New Pages to check out!

For your reference.  I have made a Recipe for kids page (look on the top of the blog to click on the link) that features recipes I like to make with my kids such as Playdough, muffins and cookies.  I will keep adding to these once an awhile.  I also added a page that will give calendar items in Cache Valley for kids.  I have them listed by date.  There is story time, events at the Stokes Nature Center, and others I found.  If you have a calendar item to add please e-mail it to and I will get it on there.

Monster or Dino Feet

Dino Feet Craft
We had a great time making these dino feet.  Mostly the kids had fun stomping around with them when they were complete.
Empty tissue boxes
colored paper
First paint the whole box with paint to cover.  We used green.  After it is dry.  Used any colored of paper to make claws.  We cut triangles out of construction paper.  Most of the girls wanted their claws painted pink.  Then fit each box to your child's feet by using tape so their feet won't fall out while stomping.

Fun Easy Craft for kids

Ball Toss Toy
Supplies needed:
Empty Plastic water bottle
String or yarn
Heavy Aluminum Foil (or two pieces of regular)
Stickers, colored paper to decorate

This is so easy and fun to make.
1.  Cut off the bottom of your water bottle
2.  Decorate with stickers or glue colored paper to bottle
3.  Tie a piece of string or yarn to the lip of the bottle
4.  Squeeze a piece of aluminum foil around the end of the string being careful to leave enough string so the ball can reach the hole on top.
Now you have a new toy to play with that requires a some concentration and motor control!
